SilverStar would like to thank all of those who came to our Open House on 4/8/08 and our hearing with the Deschutes County Commission on 4/9/08. During these meetings, we unveiled our latest design ideas for a Village on the 17 acres of land that we currently own in the Sunriver commercial core. As you will see, the primary elements of the Village have been integrated into the latest design. For those of you who could not attend, you can now see many of the new drawings as well as PowerPoint presentations given by both SilverStar and Dave Leland of Leland Consulting on this website.

Dave Leland, a national expert and authority in the economics of mixed-use development and public-private partnerships, has been engaged to work with the community to evaluate the project and to ensure that the details of the proposed Town Center zone will give The Village at Sunriver the greatest opportunity for long-term success. Over the next few months, Dave will act as an independent advisor, putting to work for Sunriver his decades of expertise on hundreds of similar projects.

As always, we invite your thoughts and ideas, and encourage you to check back with our website for opportunities to learn more about the project and opportunities to provide additional input. Don’t forget to show your support for the Village at our next public hearing with the Deschutes County Commission at 6pm on April 30, 2008 at the Great Hall in Sunriver.
