COMMUNITY SERVICES AND AMENITIES

Myth: Village residents will overcrowd existing Sunriver Owners Association (SROA) amenities such as pools and bike paths.

Fact: The Village will provide its own recreational amenities including at least 1 pool complex and fitness facility. Due to its proximity to the Village, this amenity will be used before other SROA amenities.

Fact: The bike path network through the Village area will be upgraded with the help of the SROA.

Fact: Village owners will be dues paying members of the SROA. These dues will provide additional revenue to the SROA to upgrade their current facilities.

Myth: The Village at Sunriver will provide a financial burden to the existing community by requiring upgrades to existing infrastructure.

Fact: SilverStar Destinations is working with Sunriver utility providers to ensure that if system upgrades are required, The Village at Sunriver will pay for its prorated share of these costs.

Myth: The Sunriver Fire Department cannot provide fire protection to the proposed taller buildings in the Village.

Fact: SilverStar Destinations has met with the Fire Department on a number of occasions and will jointly work out a plan to provide fire protection for the Village. SilverStar Destinations has agreed in theory to pay for any incremental costs for upgraded fire equipment required to service the Village.
