Sunriver Music Festival, led by Artistic Director & Conductor Brett Mitchell, presents the landmark Summer Festival every August for residents and visitors featuring world-class soloists and the Festival Orchestra. Throughout the rest of the year, Fireside Series concerts feature classical, jazz and classical crossover music throughout Central Oregon. Visit sunrivermusic.org for the full schedule of concerts, dining events, fundraisers, and more!

Since its inception in 1977 and in addition to the acclaimed performances, Sunriver Music Festival’s twofold mission includes a commitment to nurture the next generation of artistic talent:

  • The Festival’s Young Artists Scholarship program has awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to aspiring young classical musicians in Jefferson, Crook, and Deschutes counties.
  • Thanks to community grants and individual donors, the Festival provides support for music education programs to the schools in South Deschutes County. Educational concerts, workshops, artists-in-residence, and musical instrument grants help make music accessible to all students.

Stop by the Music Festival office in the Village at Sunriver to pick up information about upcoming Festival events. Additionally, enjoy some light shopping! Check out merchandise such as specially-selected wines from favorite Oregon wineries, wine glasses, coffee mugs, notecards, and posters. What’s more, each year, local artists are invited to submit a work of art for the annual Summer Festival poster. Framed and unframed prints of several years’ posters are available at the office for purchase. Come in and peruse 4+ decades of Sunriver Music Festival original art prints or view online.
