It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Sunriver Art Fair (scheduled to take place August 7-9, 2020).
Due to Oregon state directives restricting large gatherings through September, a difficult decision was made to not proceed.

We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the artists, but also to the community that enjoys this 3-day event during the summer.

We will still promote all artists who accepted our invitation to participate this year. Check back for updates of these artists in 11 different mediums: ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, gourd art, woodwork, metalwork and mixed media.  Artists come from as far away as the east coast and right here in the Pacific Northwest.

We look forward to the Fair returning to the Village at Sunriver in August 2021.

The Village at Sunriver is home to one of Central Oregon’s premier summer art events. The Eleventh Annual Sunriver Art Fair, sponsored by the Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC), returns this summer August 7th-9th. The Fair was voted one of America’s top 10 art fairs by readers of artFairCalendar.com, and showcases over 80 artists displaying and selling their original art. The work is juried from artist applications across the country, primarily from the Northwest and West Coast. The mediums displayed at the fair include ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, woodworking, and mixed media.

Additional entertainment includes live music on the main stage as well as an art center for young artists to try out their skills. Admittance is free.

A few quotes from visitors to the Fair:

“A consistently stunning array of fine art, price points are appropriate, and it’s located in a picturesque setting within the heart of Central Oregon, located in a high desert resort with beautiful views and wonderful family activities.”

“Level of artist talent is high. High caliber event, well run, something for everyone!”

Net proceeds from the Fair support the philanthropy program of the Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC). Since 1999 the SRWC has awarded $635,855 in grants to nonprofit community agencies that meet the basic needs (i.e., shelter, health, food, clothing, and education) of families and children residing in the Three Rivers and South Deschutes County area.
